Cocktail & Food Picks

A flag pick sits in food, which changes the specification completely. The pick has to be food safe, the ink has to be food safe, and the flag has to be coated so it does not wick fat or sauce up into the print within a minute of being placed.

That last one is the failure everybody sees at a buffet: a row of little flags with a brown tidemark climbing up them. It is not a printing fault, it is an uncoated paper flag doing exactly what uncoated paper does.
